How Our Story Began

The idea behind CarProperty.com began with a simple observation: garages matter.

Our founder grew up appreciating the value of garage space. But after entering real estate, he saw that many large garages and automotive-friendly property features were treated as secondary details—or even as spaces homeowners should convert into something else.

In 2002, the Car Property Realtor concept was born. Property owners from across the United States began reaching out for help selling homes with significant garage space and automotive appeal. Yet a locally licensed real estate professional could only directly serve one region.

That led to a bigger idea in 2004: create a dedicated website where property owners and their agents could advertise car-oriented properties locally and to a wider audience.

CarProperty.com launched in beta in 2006 under the slogan that continues to define it today: Where the Garage Matters™. It has been the leader in this highly valuable niche market ever since!
